What is Naturopathy?
Naturopathic medicine is a distinct primary health care system that blends modern scientific knowledge with traditional, natural forms of medicine to treat the whole person. Licensed naturopathic doctors (NDs) identify root causes of illness and support the body’s innate ability to heal using methods like nutrition, lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, IV Therapy or vitamin injections. Naturopathic Doctors attends a four-year, graduate-level medical school, studying basic sciences similar to conventional doctors (MDs), but with additional training in natural therapies. They focus on individualized care and often work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
